What kindness did you do today? What kindness did you see today? (add a comment and let me know)

- I shoveled the snow in front of my Dad’s truck so that he can actually get out of the driveway.

- I am joining the Susan G. Komen 3Day (check out my other page… link coming soon) to help find a cure for Breast Cancer.

- I helped my Mom pay her bills and let her use my computer since hers in broken.

Showing Kindness

My goal is to everyday go out of my way to be extra kind whenever I can. Each day I will post the kindness I do and what I see. I invite you to do the same.

One of my goals for this page is for my students to see that “real people” not just teachers are kind and help people. As each day goes on, click on the day to go to that day’s post.

I also encourage everyone to continue to be kind all the time. (and feel free to comment on them here)

Kindness Week 2010

Posted in Acts of Kindness at 3:18 PM by

This week is Kindness Week. It is a chance for you to think about others and do things for them. Hopefully, the feeling will catch on and you’ll continue to do nice things the rest of the year.

Our school, Mespo Elementary, will be celebrating the week by doing nice things for others and donating things for Project Night Night.

Monday – Warm Fuzzy Day (wear your warm fuzzy clothes) We will share the story of the Warm Fuzzy and students will make some to share with other people.

Tuesday – Pink Jello Day (PJ Day – wear your pajamas) At lunch students will be able to “buy” pink jello by donating a book, a blanket, a stuffed animal, or money.

Wednesday - Be Kind Day (Don’t match! Do your best to clash- it’s ok, everyone will be nice to you!)  Students will be encouraged to do extra nice things for people.

Thursday- Care Bear Day ( bring your favorite Care Bear or small stuffed animal with you).

Friday – Olympic Day (wear red, yellow, blue, green, and black to show support for setting aside international differences.
